Woodside legal action against climate protestors “a bit on the nose”

Fossil fuel giant Woodside is threatening legal action against two climate activists after one let off stench gas inside its Perth headquarters. Greenpeace Australia Pacific CEO David Ritter said threatening to sue the activist over the gas prank was “a bit on the nose” considering the threat Woodside poses to our oceans and climate. 

The United Nations has said that it is now “virtually certain” that July will be the hottest month the world has ever recorded. Secretary-General António Guterres said the time of climate change was over and “the era of global boiling has arrived”.

Tragically, despite heroic efforts the remaining pilot whales stranded on a beach in Western Australia were euthanised after re-beaching overnight.
