Protestors have gathered outside fossil fuel company Woodside’s Perth office, opposing its decision to rush ahead on the toxic Scarborough gas project as CEO Meg O’Neill sought to play down concerns during an investor update.

Australia’s offshore wind industry has received a funding boost, with the Victorian government pledging almost $40 million for three wind farm proposals off the Gippsland coast.
