Infrared video exposes climate-heating methane gas leaks

The Australian Conservation Foundation has captured infrared video that they say exposes climate-heating methane gas leaks and venting at dozens of mines and facilities owned by energy giants Santos and Origin, as well as pipeline company Jemena. 

New Zealand may become the first country in the world with 100 per cent renewable electricity following a deal with one of the world’s largest investment companies to develop and deliver a climate infrastructure fund valued at $2 billion.

And South Australia has launched a new charging station with vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology that, in allowing electric vehicles to either be recharged or be used as batteries, would create virtual power plants on wheels.
