Time is running out as COP26 enters final day, but Morrison seems to think it’s already over

COP26 enters its final day, with UN chief Antonio Guterres declaring the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees is “on life support” as countries clash over  fossil fuels, a financial compensation scheme, and the depth of emissions cuts this decade. Prime Minister Scott Morrison seems to think the summit is already over, appearing on breakfast television saying “it’s after COP26 now”.
